Bellingham police investigate after woman’s body found in motor home sold at auction
Bellingham police are investigating after a body was found in a motor home that had been sold at an auction.
The motor home was on the 3800 block of Hannegan Road, and police began an investigation into the death on Tuesday, June 9, according to Lt. Claudia Murphy, spokesperson for the Bellingham Police Department.
Murphy declined to release more details, saying police were in the initial stages of the investigation.
Dr. Gary Goldfogel, Whatcom County medical examiner, confirmed the gender, saying the woman’s death was suspicious.
He said that the cause of death is “pending further studies.”
