Bellingham driver and passenger injured in single-car crash on I-5

A Bellingham man was the driver in a single-car crash on Interstate 5 early Sunday in Snohomish County that that resulted in he and a passenger being hospitalized with injuries.

Jackson R. Stoll, 24, was injured at approximately 12:47 a.m. Feb. 9 when the 1996 Isuzu Rodeo he was driving northbound on I-5 near milepost 186 left the roadway to the right and struck a tree, according to the Washington State Patrol incident report.

Stoll was transported to Providence Hospital in Everett, along with 23-year-old Holly A. Goodridge of Shoreline, who was a passenger in the vehicle, the report stated.

The State Patrol was not certain if either Stoll nor Goodridge were wearing seat belts, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
