Kona opens bike store in Bellingham

BELLINGHAM

The Kona Bicycle Co.’s new store is now open for business.

Kona opened this month at 1622 N. State St. and is planning a grand opening June 20-21, said Cory Blackwood, an employee for the Ferndale company.

Until then, the company has most of its products available, but it is continuing to add to the 6,600-square-foot store, Blackwood said. Along with bikes, the store has biking accessories as well as repair services.

The store is open every day except Tuesday. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Saturday. Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For further details, call 360-656-5862 or visit the store’s Facebook page.
