High school seniors can get help preparing for college at Bellingham Technical College’s BTC-Bound Day on June 9.
Students will have the opportunity to check out BTC’s campus and meet with advisers Tuesday. The event will offer free placement testing, help graduates with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and inform them about scholarship opportunities.
Accuplacer testing will be offered at the event for free. The test, which would typically cost $21, is designed to evaluate skills in reading, writing and math.
There also will be free lunch.
Registration is required to attend. Prospective students need to apply to BTC before registering. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, June 7. Seniors interested in attending can contact admissions at 360-752-8345 or RSVP at www.btc.ctc.edu/collegeday.
