Rollover crash blocks Interstate 5 on-ramp near Meridian Street
The northbound Interstate 5 on-ramp from Meridian Street is closed due to a two-car collision just after 11 a.m. Monday, according to the Washington State Patrol and emergency radio traffic.
The accident is blocking the on-ramp and both lanes of Guide Meridian are blocked because of emergency responders, according to Trooper Heather Axtman with the Washington State Patrol. One of the cars involved rolled over, Axtman said.
Two trucks are en route, and the road is expected to be opened soon.
Axtman said she doesn’t believe serious injuries are involved.
