They awoke for work Friday, but instead found their car windows shot out
Bellingham Police are investigating a series of malicious mischief incidents after at least five vehicles had windows shot out with a BB or pellet gun last week.
Most of the vehicles were in the 100 and 200 blocks of Ashley Street early Friday.
Two other incidents were reported in the 800 block of 40th Street and the 1000 block of Lone Tree Court, according to police Lt. Danette Beckley.
Beckley said she couldn’t provide damage estimates, as it depends on which window was shot out and what type of glass is used as a replacement.
Beckley said it’s likely the incidents are connected – and a suspect has yet to be identified.
