Authorities are searching for the driver of an SUV who hit a bicyclist and fled Monday near Kendall.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Heather Axtman said the bike rider, whose name wasn’t released, didn’t appear badly injured, but was taken to the hospital by ambulance as a precaution.
Axtman said the SUV, a blue or silver Ford Explorer, clipped the cyclist on Kendall Road south of Dardu Road. The driver didn’t stop, she said.
“The vehicle did leave debris in the roadway,” Axtman said, adding troopers found a side mirror and glass from the SUV.
