Ferndale, Lummi schools closed again due to icy conditions

Students in the Ferndale and Lummi Nation schools will stay home another day - the fifth straight school day - due to hazardous road conditions in western Whatcom County.

School buses in the Mount Baker school district will be on snow routes Thursday.

Northwest Indian College also is closed.

As of 6:20 a.m., no other school district have announced schedule changes.
