Crowd gathers to light Bellingham’s Christmas tree

Kids and adults gathered at Depot Market Square on Saturday night for a downtown Bellingham tradition – the annual lighting of the Christmas tree.

Mayor Kelli Linville lit the tree at the event, which featured a visit by Santa, ornament making and games for children, live music from Wild Hare Music School and a “Nutcracker” performance by Harper&I Dance, a Bellingham dance school.
