Hundreds attend Bellingham ComiCon
Fans of science fiction, fantasy and pop culture gathered at the Ferndale Events Center on Saturday, Oct. 22, for the Bellingham ComiCon.
The annual event features artists and writers for comic books – everything from Spider-Man to Strawberry Shortcake – as well as board, tabletop and video games.
Hundreds also showed up for a costume contest and a special appearance by the 501st Legion, a group renowned for its authentic “Star Wars” costumes.
