Here‘s why the ‘All in WA‘ flag is flying at the Port of Bellingham
Update: The All In WA: A Concert for COVID-19 Relief has been rescheduled to Wednesday, June 24.

Community leaders across Washington launched a statewide relief effort called All in WA, the organization announced Wednesday, May 27.
In support of the effort, Whatcom Community Foundation CEO Mauri Ingram, United Way of Whatcom County President and CEO Peter Theisen and Lhaq’temish Foundation Executive Director Candice Wilson helped raise an All in WA flag Wednesday morning at the Port of Bellingham.
The effort is aimed at providing support for workers and families impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Their goal is to inspire people to “step up, and help address the health, social, and economic impacts of COVID-19 on Washington’s most vulnerable communities.”
The non-profit organization has received contributions from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Howard & Sheri Schultz, among others. Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos has pledged to match donations under $1 million to All In WA, up to $25 million.
All in WA flags were raised simultaneously at the Capitol in Olympia, the Space Needle in Seattle, and locations in Vancouver, Spokane, Yakima, Wenatchee and Bellingham.
A relief concert presented by corporate partner Amazon will be broadcast on June 10. More information on the concert and All in WA can be found on their website at allinwa.org.
