A company that manages memory care communities is getting ready to start construction on a large facility in Bellingham.
Silverado recently received design approval and is expected to start this summer on a four-acre site in the 4400 block of Cordata Parkway, according to a company news release. The 41,000-square-foot facility will care for up to 80 people with memory-impaired conditions. It will also have office space for the Alzheimer’s Society of Washington.
Along with the dozens of construction jobs, the facility will create about 80 new healthcare jobs, according to the company.
Ongoing updates related to this project will be available at silveradocare.com/bellingham.
