Ending the week with some Bellingham biz tidbits...

Here’s a few local biz tidbits to end the week...

•  A building permit was submitted to combine two spaces at 4210 Meridian St. (formerly home to Quiznos) for a new mattress store called Select Comfort.



•  A state liquor license application was submitted to sell beer and wine at a new store called Nisha Chopra at 902 N. State St., Suite 102. The applicants are Nisha and Karunesh Chopra.



•  On Monday, April 13 Blessings Salon Spa at 1112 11th St., Suite 201 in Fairhaven is participating in the Aveda Global Cut-A-Thon for Earth Month 2015. All proceeds from haircuts, shampoo/styles, 30-minute massages and facials will go to the Puget Soundkeeper Alliance. Puget Soundkeeper’s mission is to protect and preserve the waters of Puget Sound. •  Kojo of Japan has closed its eatery at the Bellis Fair. Nearby in the mall’s food court Go Grill is expected in the coming days. Bellis Fair General Manager Rene Morris said negotiations are underway for several new food court tenants.
