Jennifer Shelton has left her position at Western Washington University’s Small Business Development Center and an interim director has been appointed.
Shelton, who served as director for five years, has left to move to the Seattle area, according to a news release from Western. CJ Seitz, who worked at the local SBDC as a certified business advisor from 2005-2009, was named the interim director. Seitz also worked at the Washington State Employment Security Department from 2009 to 2013, according to her LinkedIn account.
Also Western’s SBDC is Deb Lee has a business advisor. She originally joined the organization in 2007, but left to work as a business counselor throughout Washington state through grant-funded projects for the College of Business and Economics at Western.
