According to its Facebook page, Bellingham Black Market Boutique is dealing with an unfortunate soggy situation.
Earlier this week the company posted that a plumbing problem forced the closure of the store at 2010 N. State St. Here’s the latest update posted on Friday, Jan. 23:
We have packed away all inventory safely into the second sales room. The ceiling may need to come down, and it is hard to have an accurate idea of when we can open back up. In the meantime, all consignment periods have been frozen, there will be no expiration of items and consignment periods will be extended after we reopen. If you have items on consignment they are safe, clean, but inaccessible due to being stacked on top of each other. We thank you for your patience and understanding while we sort through this big mess. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your questions and we will answer them as soon as possible.
