Whidbey Island Bank name changing to Heritage Bank
The Whidbey Island Bank signs will be coming down in the coming weeks at its four Bellingham branches to make way for the new Heritage Bank logo.
In May 2014 Heritage completed its merger with Washington Banking Company, parent company of Whidbey Island Bank. The name change is taking place throughout Western Washington except for the six offices on Whidbey Island itself, according to a company news release.

Note: This post was corrected to include the fact Heritage Bank has four branch offices in Bellingham.
