Foundry in Chehalis to shut down

Layoff notices were announced for a foundry in Chehalis.

According to the local newspaper The Chronicle ( link), Bradken Foundry is shutting down its facility in Chehalis. The company makes steel castings and similar products.

According to a WARN announcement from the state Employment Security Department, 89 employees will be laid off effective March 16. WARN stands for Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification.
