High-tech products on display at Bellingham library Dec. 6.

The latest tech gadgets will be available to try out on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Bellingham Public Library.

Staff from Village Books, Best Buy, TD Curran and Fred Meyer will bring and demonstrate how to use a variety of computer tablets and e-readers. The event runs from 1-3 p.m. on the main floor of the library at 210 Central Ave.

The products include Kobo, iPad, Nook, Kindle and Samsung. Library staff and volunteers will also be on hand to show how to download library e-books, audiobooks and magazines.

“This gathering is a fun way to see and try out the latest devices that will be popular in the upcoming gift season,” said Deborah Brewer, public services librarian. “Participants will have a chance to talk with area retailers about individual products and compare their features and services.”

For details on the event, call the library at 360-778-7323.
