A couple of Whatcom County businesses landed on a list of biggest women-owned companies.
Management Services Northwest Inc. and Bramble Berry Inc. were 17th and 18th respectively on the Puget Sound Business Journal’s women-owned business list.
The list ranks companies by 2013 revenue.
Management Services Northwest of Ferndale had $10.2 million in revenue last year. The company offers a variety of services, including janitorial, landscaping and general maintenance, according to its website. The owner is Janelle Bruland.

Bellingham’s Bramble Berry is owned by Anne-Marie Faiola and generated $10 million in revenue last year, according to the list. The company is known for its soap products and supplies. Details can be found at its website.
Topping the list was a Seattle electrical contractor called Cochran Inc., which had $176.2 million in revenue last year.
