Seattle waterfront businesses start issuing layoff notices in preparation for seawall construction

A couple of Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notifications were issued for two Seattle companies, including Elliott's Oyster House waterfront restaurant. The Puget Sound Business Journal reports that 15 waterfront businesses will shut down during construction of the Elliott Bay seawall, which runs from this October to July 2015.
