A new restaurant opened its doors in Lynden, bringing a “diverse selection of exquisite dishes and beverages” to Whatcom County, according to the restaurant’s website.

The new eatery, Rustic Bar and Grill, officially opened on Wednesday, May 13.

“We’re grateful for the outpouring of support on our first official night open, a truly unforgettable moment for us. Our community’s energy is what makes this journey so meaningful - it’s the faces, new and familiar, that remind us of the power of connection. Thanks again for being part of this journey; we’re excited to serve you in the weeks ahead,” a May 14 Facebook post stated.

The restaurant serves burgers, steaks, soups, salads, seafood, ribs, desserts and offers a full kids menu.

“Our restaurant is dedicated to providing guests with a memorable journey through flavors inspired by rustic traditions and modern culinary artistry,” the restaurant’s website states.

The menu includes whiskey crab soup, baked lobster dip, beef brisket mac and cheese, seafood scampi, prime rib, tiramisu, affogato and Danish apple trifle.

The craft cocktail menu features a drink called the “Cowgirl Blush” made with whiskey, simple syrup, egg white and lemon juice, as well as a “Pink Pony Cosmo” with raspberry vodka, Cointreau, club soda, lime and cranberry juice.

Rustic Bar and Grill is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily at 8155 Guide Meridian Rd. in Lynden, Washington, connected to the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites.
