Looking for a new Bellingham restaurant? These were booked the most last month
Each month the restaurant reservation and review platform OpenTable uses its data to find the top 10 most booked restaurants in Northwest Washington, and six Bellingham restaurants made the list for January.

These Bellingham restaurants were the most booked in January:
- Anthony’s Hearthfire Grill: An oceanside restaurant featuring fresh seafood, hearth-fire cooking, steaks, salads, pastas, burgers, craft cocktails and more. The restaurant is open from noon to 9 p.m. daily at 7 Bellwether Way in Bellingham, in Squalicum Harbor.
- Roe: A family-owned restaurant in downtown Bellingham, known for “elevated comfort food and cozy vibes,” featuring dungeness crab, salmon montadito, chicken fried rabbit, burgers and more. The restaurant also has a bar full of craft cocktails, wine and beer. Roe is open from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and 4 to 10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 207 Unity St. in Bellingham.
- Anthony’s Squalicum Harbor: Another Anthony’s restaurant, but separate from Hearthfire Grill, this restaurant features a more elegant menu and atmosphere, with dishes such as lobster, seafood fettuccine, filet mignon, prawns, coconut prawns, sirloin and more. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, with brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. The restaurant is at 25 Bellwether Way.
- Estelle: an upscale eatery with craft cocktails and seasonal comfort foods is known for dishes like steak tartare, manilla clams, duck fat frites, coho salmon, lamb loin and cocktails such as a cranberry amaretto sour, old fashioned, and a “good behavior” made with bourbon, rum, Krampus liqueur, red wine, honey and ginger. Estelle is open from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 4 to 9 p.m. Friday through Sunday at 1147 11th St. in Bellingham.
- Lombardi’s: An oceanfront Italian restaurant, serving pizzas, chicken parmagiana, Roman-style lasagna, pesto clams, salmon piccata and steaks. The restaurant is open from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday, 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 21 Bellwether Way in Bellingham.
- Skylark’s Hidden Cafe: A nostalgic restaurant tucked in the histroic Fairhaven neighborhood that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu includes biscuits and gravy, smoked salmon benedict, apple crumble pancakes, burgers, steak, garlic fettuccine alfredo, butternut squash risotto, cocktails and desserts. Skylark’s Hidden Cafe is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 1308 11th St. in Bellingham.
