Rental prices increase in parts of Bellingham. Here’s where rent is the most affordable

Rental home and apartment listings in Bellingham show some prices increasing last month, according to rental housing data companies.

Zumper reported that the April median price of $1,483 for one-bedroom Bellingham apartment listings was up 0.6% from March’s median of $1,474.

April’s median price of $1,273 for studio apartment listings was down 0.5% from March’s median of $1,280. April’s median price of $1,789 for two-bedroom listings was up 1.5% from March’s median of $1,762.

RentHub reports median rental listing prices for houses, multiplexes and apartments of all sizes. Prices in April:

Increased in the 98225 ZIP code from March’s average of $1,534 to $1,700 in April.

Decreased in the 98226 ZIP code from March’s average of $1,950 to $1,820 in April.

If you are looking for an affordable rental in Bellingham, looking in the 98225 zip code could save you over $120 a month compared to 98226’s median rental prices.
