More than 5,000 Puget Sound Energy customers lost power early Thursday morning
Over 5,000 Puget Sound Power customers living around the north end of Silver Beach were without power early Thursday morning.
The power outage was caused by a “bird or animal,” according to the Puget Sound website, which showed the outage affecting the Barkley and Silver Beach neighborhoods of Bellingham.
Power was lost at about 5:30 a.m. and restored at about 7:30 a.m.
