Jif and Salmonella

Numerous Jif products as well as other products that use peanut butter from J.M. Smucker Company have been yanked from shelves on salmonella concerns.

Built Brands doesn’t know what kind of E. coli that lab-testing found, but knows enough to recall 4,196 Built Puffs Banana Cream Pie protein bars.

This covers lot No. D22151011, which reached mail order customers after June 6.

Customers who have the recalled bars should either throw them out or call Built Brands about a refund. Customers who want their money back, or just answers, can email questions@built.com or call 801-845-2991, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Eastern time, Monday through Friday.
