Senior bocce players aim for bragging rights

Lynden No. 3 bested nine other teams from the Lynden, Blaine, Bellingham, and Ferndale senior centers to win the 2017 All County Bocce Tournament Monday at Bender Fields in Lynden.

The seniors play to win the trophy “and bragging rights,” said Cathi LeCocq, Lynden Senior Center director.

The winning team consisted of Ken Riley, Bonnie Bass, Wayne Godard and Ruth Tiersma.
