Gil and Inge Thurston

Gil and Inge Thurston were married on August 23, 1947, 65 years ago at St. James Presbyterian Church in Bellingham WA. They celebrated on Camano Island with their family. They are the parents of four sons, Grant (Sandy), Mark (Nancy), Brian (Pam), and Drew (Marlene). They have six grandchildren, Geoff, Stacey, Jeremy, Erin, Ryan and Hannah and one great granddaughter Quinn.They both retired from the Bellingham School District. Gil was an Elementary School Principal and Inge was an Instructional Aide.They attribute their long successful marriage to a loving family, ggod friends and always keeping a sense of humor!
