School bus on fire near Custer, all 13 passengers evacuated
Lynden and North Whatcom fire crews are responding to a report of a school bus on fire Wednesday afternoon in Custer.
According to emergency radio broadcasts, all 13 passenger aboard the medium-sized bus have safely evacuated.
First reports of the fire were at 4:13 p.m. at 8261 Sunrise Road.
The first units on scene broadcast that there was no longer any fire or smoke and canceled all incoming units.
