Rental homes and apartment listings in Bellingham show some prices decreasing last month, according to rental housing data companies.

Zumper reported that the May median price of $1,444 for a one-bedroom Bellingham apartment was down 2.6% from April’s median price of $1,483.

May’s median price of $1,272 for studio apartment listings was down a dollar, or 0.07% from April’s median of $1,273. May’s median price of $1,800 for two-bedroom listings was up 0.6% from April’s median of $1,789.

RentHub reports median rental listing prices for houses, multiplexes and apartments of all sizes. Prices in May:

Decreased in the 98225 ZIP code from April’s average of $1,700 to $1,650 in May.

Decreased in the 98226 ZIP code from April’s average of $1,820 to $1,732 in May.

If you are looking for an affordable rental in Bellingham, looking in the 98225 ZIP code could save you over $80 a month compared with 98226’s median rental prices.

Decreased by 1.62% in the 98226 zip code.

Increased by 6.58% in the 98225 zip code.

Increased by 6.27% in the 98229 zip code.
