Bill Belichick's Daughter-in-Law's Arrest Warrant Saga Has Major Plot Twist

The arrest warrant issued for Bill Belichick's daughter-in-law, Jen, over a traffic stop incident has abruptly been recalled.

According to court records viewed by Us Weekly, Jen's attorney, Alex Kintner, filed a motion to recall the arrest warrant, saying she was absent from court because his services had been "just retained."

A judge granted Kintner's motion, removed Jen's failure to appear and recalled the arrest warrant.

Jen is now scheduled to appear for a new deposition hearing on September 25.

"I can confirm as Mrs. Belichick's attorney in this matter that there is no order for Mrs. Belichick's arrest, nor is there a failure to appear," Kintner said in a text message to TheCalifornia Post. "Both have been struck and her traffic ticket will be resolved on the next court date by me."

Kintner added, "Somebody fumbled the ball last week, but we picked it up and ran with it. Go Heels."

Bill is currently the head football coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels. His son Stephen, Jen's husband, is the team's defensive coordinator.

An arrest warrant was issued for Jen on Monday, July 13, in relation to a traffic stop on May 21, when Jen was pulled over for misdemeanor speeding after being accused of going 88 MPH in a 70 MPH zone.

Jen was due to appear in court on Friday, July 10, but failed to show up. Thus, the warrant was issued.

Hours after news broke of the arrest warrant, Jen downplayed the severity of the situation on social media. She posted a screenshot of an article about the warrant via her Instagram Story on Monday with the caption: "I HIRED AN ATTORNEY!!!!!"

Jen has been married to Steve, 39, since June 2017, and the couple share five children. Steve previously worked on his father's coaching staff with the New England Patriots from 2012 to 2023.

Prior to making headlines for her arrest warrant, Jen caused a major storm when she went on a rant about Bill's relationship with his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, after a North Carolina football game in November 2025. Bill, 74, and Hudson, 25, have been dating since 2023.

According to The New York Post, Jen went on a fiery tirade outside Bill's office, calling Hudson "bats*** crazy."

"He wants to fire you, fire you. He wants to f***ing disown me, disown me. I don't f***ing care," Jen reportedly said to her husband.

Jen also allegedly made fun of Hudson's clothes and said she needs to "eat a burger."
