Adam Sandler Visits Nantucket After Officiating Taylor and Travis' Wedding
Adam Sandler is enjoying his time on the East Coast.
Sandler, 59, was seen playing basketball in Nantucket, Massachusetts, just two days after officiating Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding on Friday, July 3. According to the Nantucket Current, the actor "stopped for a quick game of pickup basketball at the court off Backus Lane."
"Andrew Kesler told the Current that he and his friends were playing when Sandler pulled up in a car, got out, and asked to join the game," the Current continued via X. Kesler told the Current that Sandler pulled up on Sunday, July 5, and "started playing pick ups with the boys. He's like, ‘Guys, let me stretch. I'm going to hop in.'"
The ballplayer said that Sandler had "great passing and playmaking, decent lay-ups [but] hesitated to shoot the ball."

Sandler's getaway comes just days after Us Weekly confirmed that he officiated Swift, 36, and Kelce's wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
His daughters, Sadie, 20, and Sunny, 17, have been Swifties since they were children. In August 2024, the actor opened up to Kelce, 36, about his daughters' love for Swift during an episode of his "New Heights" podcast.
"Taylor in our house, every tune, they knew every word," Sandler shared at the time. "I loved listening to her in the car. I love what she had to say, every message, every melody, just the production, how cool she was, what she meant to young girls, what she means to women, what she means to guys doing the right thing in life."
Sandler went on to say that his daughters have met Swift multiple times. "She means so much to my f***ing house," he gushed.
Plus, the Just Go With It Star has been close friends with the newlyweds for years. He met Kelce in 2024 when the NFL player made a cameo in Sandler's movie Happy Gilmore 2. In 2023, Sandler's family attended the Los Angeles premiere of Swift's Eras Tour concert film, where she hugged Sadie and Sunny.
Last July, Sandler opened up to Entertainment Tonight about his relationship with Kelce, sharing, "Travis is such a gentle, nice guy and funny as hell. He's like the guys I grew up with. When I was with Travis, it reminded me of my buddies in high school and just being able to laugh and say the things you want to say."
