Wines from JM Cellars in Woodinville will be showcased during a five-course dinner at the Semiahmoo Resort, Golf and Spa at 5:30 p.m. on Thurday, May 26.
The mouth-watering menu, handcrafted by Executive Chef Bruno Feldeisen, features JM Cellars’ 2014 Bramble Bump White paired with scallop sashimi prepared with pickled vegetables, yuzu juice and charred Asian pear. He’s also paired Lummi Island wild halibut with butter-poached spot prawns, white asparagus and pinot noir reduction with JM Cellars’ 2013 Chardonnay. The winemakers’ 2012 Tre Fanciulli and 2015 rosé also make appearances.
Feldeisen, a first-generation Frenchman, remembers making gnocchi by hand with his grandmother at the age of six as she showed him the “way of the kitchen.”
Package rates for two start from $359, inclusive of tax and gratuity, including a one night stay in a newly renovated guest room at the resort, 9565 Semiahmoo Parkway, Blaine.
Digital Access for only $0.99
