The best beer garden in Whatcom County
Kulshan Brewing Company’s Trackside location received 45 votes, 26% of the total, to top the list of the best beer garden in Whatcom County.
As Kulshan Brewing Company has three locations in Bellingham, its Trackside location has become one of the most popular beer gardens for the summer season.
The Trackside beer garden is located at The Portal, Bellingham’s waterfront container village that opens each summer and includes other businesses such as The Selkie Scoop ice cream, Our Kitchen restaurant and The Rain or Shine Riveria Club restaurant.
The Trackside beer garden is also popular online, receiving a 5-star review from 14 Yelp reviews. Kulshan’s two other locations also received 4.5-star ratings.
Kulshan Brewing Company’s Trackside beer garden is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday and is at 298 W. Laurel St. in Bellingham.
In second place with 28 votes was Boundary Bay Brewing Co.
This well-known restaurant has many different dining areas for guests, including a tap room, bistro, beer garden, patio deck and sidewalk seating.
The restaurant is also popular online, receiving a 4-star rating from 1,013 Yelp reviews.
Boundary Bay Brewing Co. is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and is at 1107 Railroad Ave. in Bellingham.
In third place was Goods Local Brew with 21 votes, and Stones Throw Brewery in fourth place with 19 votes.
