This is the best pho in Whatcom County, according to results from our reader poll
We asked readers which Whatcom County restaurant made the best pho, and the votes are in.
The poll had nine options including local favorites in Whatcom County such as Pho 360, Black Pearl Asian Fusion Restaurant and What a Pho. The poll received 409 votes total.
Winning with 172 votes was Pho Ly.
The local Vietnamese restaurant has received a 4 star rating from 128 reviews on Yelp, and is praised for its pork skewers, pho and the family owned atmosphere.
The restaurant also features dishes such as egg rolls, shrimp fried rice, chicken teriyaki and pho.
Pho Ly does not have a website or Facebook page, but according to Yelp is open from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and is located at in Bellingham at 4151 Meridian St #113
In second place was Soy House with 109 votes.
The authentic Vietnamese restaurant takes “great pleasure in providing food that is fresh, wholesome and healthy. Our dishes feature many organic, natural and local ingredients, simply bringing the best to the customers. Everything is made to order, and no MSG is in any of the dishes,” the restaurant’s website says.
The menu includes dishes such as shrimp skewers, 11 types of pho, lemongrass beef pizza, roasted duck soup and fried rice.
The Soy House has received a range of reviews on Yelp with a three and a half stars rating.
Soy House is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays and is located in Bellingham at 400 W Holly St.
Pho 99 came in third place with 91 votes, followed by Saigon Cafe, Pho 360 and Black Pearl Asian Fusion Restaurant.
