With Homeskillet announcing its final day will be Sunday, May 1, regular customers will soon need a new morning hangout.

The Sunnyland restaurant was discovered by television shows and websites looking for eccentric eateries to visit. Along with proclaiming Homeskillet the grooviest in the state in 2020, Onlyinyourstate.com named Bellingham the most hippy town in Washington. In 2016 Food Network Canada dropped by to film a segment for its show “You Gotta Eat Here!”

Fortunately, there are many options for breakfast in Whatcom County. We made a list, focusing on independent restaurants that offer a full breakfast.

But which ones are the best? Now is your chance to weigh in.
