International Plowing Match on May 16 at Berthusen Park, northwest of Lynden

See teams of muscular draft horses pulling old-fashioned hand plows during the free International Plowing Match from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Berthusen Park, northwest of Lynden.

They will be tilling fields as the work was done in the era before tractors. The park is also the home of displays maintained by Puget Sound Antique Tractor and Machinery Association. Free parking is available west of the park on the south side of West Badger Road.
