Fire Safety House at Sudden Valley fire station’s pancake feed

Climb aboard a fire engine, peek inside an ambulance, and practice your escape from a simulated house fire at the South Whatcom Firefighters Association’s pancake feed, from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 25, at South Whatcom Fire Authority Station 22, at 2050 Lake Whatcom Boulevard, across from Sudden Valley Gate 3.

Menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs and ham. Cost is $5 per person or $15 for a family.

Firefighting apparatus will be available for viewing and tours, and educational programs are conducted inside the Fire Safety House.
