Kanye West, with 22 Grammy Awards to his credit, will perform Oct. 19 at KeyArena in Seattle. The show, announced Tuesday morning, will be part of West’s The Saint Pablo Tour.
The tour, West’s first in North America in three years, will support his new chart-topping album “The Life of Pablo.” The tour will kick off Aug. 25 in Indianapolis. He will visit nearly 40 cities in the United States and Canada. Besides Seattle, West’s only other stop in the Northwest will be Oct. 17 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia.
“Life of Pablo” made history by debuting at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart based on streaming sales alone. It also is 39-year-old West’s seventh straight album to reach No. 1 on the charts. Overall, West has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.
West is also famous as a songwriter, record producer and fashion designer. He’s married to Kim Kardashian.
Tickets for the Seattle show are $25.50-$124.50, and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at livenation.com, all Tickemaster outlets or by calling 800-745-3000.
