The Gaither Vocal Band returns to headline one night at the Northwest Washington Fair this summer, after a sold-out show in 2009.
The band, featuring Gospel Music Hall of Famer Bill Gaither, will perform Thursday night, Aug. 18, at the Northwest Washington Fair and Event Center.
Gaither is well known through the “Gaither Gospel Hour” and “Gaither Family Music Hour,” which has been airing on multiple television networks since the mid-1990s.
Tickets are $25 reserved grandstand and $35 preferred seating; those prices don’t include fair gate admission, which is required. Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. April 20 at nwwafair.com, by phone at 877-699-FAIR or at the fair office, 1775 Front St.
