Daniel Wood has the good fortune to play the title role in Mount Baker Theatre’s Repertory production of “The Nerd,” which opens Friday, Feb. 12, and plays through Feb. 28 at the theater’s intimate Walton Theatre.
His inaugural show in the Fourth Corner is appropriate because he’s the artistic director of his own theater company in Seattle, The Rogues Gallery, which he says is “dedicated to producing plays with geek themes.”
This show is “pure ridiculous, outrageous, zany fun,” Wood says.
Seattle’s Corey D. McDaniel directs the show; he’s also new to the Bellingham theater scene.
