Books sales this week offer low-price used and new titles for children and teens at Bellingham Public Library and at Western Washington University.

▪  New books for children and teens will be sold from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, and 10 a. m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, in the sixth floor of Wilson Library, 516 High St., on WWU campus. Price: $5 for hardcovers, $2 for paperbacks.

▪  A used-book sale continues through Saturday, Dec. 5, at Bellingham Public Library, 210 Central Ave. Most books are $1, with separate sections for children and teens. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, through Friday, Dec. 4, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, which is Bargain Bag Day.
