See spawning salmon with naturalists
See spawning salmon and learn about the life cycle of the iconic Northwest fish with tours this weekends and next, sponsored by the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association.
NSEA sponsors free tours from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at North Chuckanut Bay and Saturday, Nov. 21, at Chuckanut Creek.
Tours are “open-house style” and naturalists will be available during the events to discuss salmon and their habitat. Families are welcome.
Nov. 14: Park at the North Chuckanut Mountain Trailhead for free shuttle service to the viewing site at nearby Mud Bay.
Nov. 21: Park at either of the two Arroyo Park trailheads on Old Samish Road and look for the NSEA guides near the footbridge.
