Families: Annual mushroom show features local fungi

Northwest Mushroomers sponsors its annual Wild Mushroom Show from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at Bloedel-Donovan Park, 2214 Electric Ave.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors over 65, and free for children 12 and younger.

They'll have displays of local fungi that visitors can touch, smell and examine. They'll have mushroom delicacies to sample, a slime mold table and a special children's section.
