Community: Peace Day celebrated Sept. 19 at The Majestic

Whatcom Peace and Justice Center hosts a fundraiser to support its work to create a voice for peace and social justice in Whatcom County at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at The Majestic, 1027 N. Forest St.

Highlights include the Howard Harris Lifetime Peace Award presentation to the center’s founding executive director, Jamie K. Donaldson, music by the Bellingham Ukulele Orchestra, a baked goods and snack sale, and dance music by The Walrus.
