Music: Country singer John Lilly plays Nancy’s Farm
West Virginia singer John Lilly plays his original old-style country and Americana music, accompanied by acoustic guitar and mandolin, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at Nancy’s Farm, 2030 E. Smith Road.
From the great country sound of “Cold Comfort” to the spiritual “Hold On, Molly,” to the early-American-style tragedy of “Bohemian Boys” and the humorous “A Little Yodel Goes a Long Way,” Lilly’s music is touching, lively and romantic. He recently retired as editor of West Virginia’s Goldenseal magazine to play music full time.
Admission is $15 at the door.
