Theater: Madcap ‘Moon Over Buffalo’ plays in Lynden
Lynden Performing Arts Guild opens its 2015-2016 season with Ken Ludwig’s madcap comedy, “Moon Over Buffalo,” a raucous farce about a dysfunctional theater troupe performing at the Erlander Theatre (a real theater) in Buffalo, N.Y., in 1953. Teri Grimes directs.
The show starts Thursday, Sept. 17, and runs for 12 performances through Oct. 5 at Claire vg Thomas Theatre in Dutch Village Mall, 655 Front St., Lynden. Thursday and Friday performances are at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday performances are at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $12 adults, $10 seniors and students. “Moon Over Buffalo” is for mature audiences and is not recommended for children 13 and younger.
