Music: Seattle’s Ladies Musical Club winners play Ferndale

The Ladies Music Club of Seattle present a free concert by the solo and ensemble winners of the 2015 Frances Walton Competition at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at Ferndale High School Performing Arts Center, 5830 Golden Eagle Drive.

Performers are harpist Sophie Baird-Daniel; pianist Jovanni-Rey de Pedro; guitarist Cameron O’Connor; saxophonist Erik Steighner; and Bellingham’s Equus Saxophone Quartet, with Matt Birmingham, David Decker, Soren Hamm and David Hoogkamer. Details: lmcseattle.org.
