Festival: Skagit River Salmon Fest offers family fun

The 2015 Skagit River Salmon Festival will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Waterfront Park, next to Swinomish Casino and Lodge, 13885 Casino Drive, near Anacortes.

The free, family-oriented event offers live music and other entertainment, food booths, a beer garden, a craft fair, storytellers, games, Hunters of the Sky raptor shows, and a canine aquatics competition by Puget Sound Dock Dogs.

Entertainers include Bellamaine, Rabbit Wilde, Rivertalk, John Van Deusen, The Gristmill Rounders, Sky All Around and Peter Ali.
