The advanced repertory ensemble of actors age 13 to 17 from Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth was on the road Sept 4-7 in Seattle and Portland and Ashland, Ore. with a touring production of “Into the Woods,” Stephen Sondheim’s classic fairy tale mash-up, a hilarious, poignant and powerful retelling that dares to ask what happens after the “happily ever after.”

The principals from BAAY’s 2013 production reunited for the tour. “Into the Woods” is BAAY’s first theatrical production to go on tour.

The actors return to Bellingham for a performance at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept.11, at Mount Baker Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St. David Post directs.

Tickets are $10 adults, $5 students at the door. Details: baay.org.
