Families: ‘Full Moon at the Napping House’ authors to visit

Nationally known children’s writers Don and Audrey Wood visit Village Books next week for a presentation on their new book “The Full Moon at the Napping House.”

The book is a companion to the award-winning husband-and-wife team’s acclaimed 1984 picture book, “The Napping House.” In the new book, the glow from a full moon energizes a darkened home, robbing its residents of sleep.

The Woods will read and discuss their work at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, in the bookseller’s downstairs Readings Gallery, 1200 11th St.
